We will uncover what it is that powerful people do to impact the actions and behavior of others. We will take the mystery out of “EQ” (Emotional Intelligence) and you will learn practical ways to put it to work for you.
 
2. Going Deeper – Exploring The Future and Uncovering Shared Values
 
You will discover what inspires us and others to perform at high levels and you will learn how to deepen your conversations using shared goals and values as common ground.

3. ”Sonar Listening” - What’s Between the Lines?
 
You will learn how to use the four different levels of listening that, when used effectively, detect and reveal the “unspoken”, much like a bat uses ultrasound to navigate in the dark.
 
4. Successful “Curiouser and Curiouser” Communication
 
You will learn how to “win friends and influence people” by replacing judgment, criticism and authoritarian expertise with genuine curiosity, open-ended questioning and energizing language.
 
5. Setting Goals You Can Actually Accomplish.
 
In this final class, you will use tools gained in the course to set goals that are meaningful to you and your group or organization, for putting your learning into action and keeping it alive.
